Outdoor Play All Year Through

Time is spent outside each day. We offer activities like gardening, raking, painting, weaving, paper making, coloring, and whatever else Mother Nature inspires us to do. We live in the natural rhythms of each season, embrace all weather & feel we will be inspired each day by nature. We are Open all year.

Babies are a big part of our program. We feel the special blessing of being entrusted with the youngest souls in our care. Having babies in the midst of the the toddlers & older children brings out the best in all age groups. We all learn from one another. We gain our methods of interaction from RIE (Resources for Infant Education) & feel the infants in our care thrive because we are all "on the same page" & follow its practices. It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”

Thank you for visiting my school/daycare page.

We have 3 different groups of children depending on their age & ability. There is a good mix of age appropriate activities within your child’s group & time to interact with all the age groups.

Through the inspiration of Steiner’s research in child development and current research on brain development and the importance of bonding, rhythm, we recognize that this model of care supports the healthy development of the child.

“Our highest endeavor must be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility—these three forces are the very nerve of education.”
― Rudolf Steiner

The younger ones learn basic self-care and social skills from observing the older children and the older ones learn basic nurturing skills by observing the caregivers tend to the little ones. Another benefit of having mixed ages is that the ratio of children to care providers enables more of a family feeling. The caregiver/teacher is able to meet the special needs of each age group.
